Fix program offers:

26 August, Monday: free guided tour to the historical city centre (3-4 hours), starting at the main entrance of the Museum at 9:00.

​27 August, Tuesday: escape rooms at the Museum: "The mystery of life" and "Buried alive - Time travel in the Crypt". The escape rooms are advised for groups of 2-6 people, available for 7500 HUF/group (~25 Euro/group), and has a duration around 1 hour; can be booked during registration.

28 August, Wednesday: whole-day congress excursion (price included in the registration fee).

30 August, Friday: 15:30: bus trip to the farewell dinner at Lázár Equestrian Park at Domonyvölgy (40 Euros, not included in registration fee)

In addition to the above listed fix program offers and sightseeing places, we can advise the following programs:

  • All participants and partners will have free entrance to the Museum's exhibitions, through the whole conference with the badge received at registration.
  • All participants and partners will have a one-time free entrance to the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden with the badge received at registration. The zoo is located right behind the Heroe's square, close to the Vajdahunyad Castle, and next to the large park called Városliget. This program can be planned for a whole day and is perfect for children, too.
  • There is a large park behind the Museum called Orczy-kert, with playgrounds for little and larger children, training park for adults, adventure park for both children and adults, a nice lake with a buffet and boating opportunity.
  • The ELTE Botanical Garden is only 5 minutes far from the conference venue.
  • The Margaret island (Margitsziget) is located between the Margaret and Árpád bridges ( Margithíd and Árpád-híd). The island is a huge park with playgrounds, resting places, a little zoo (with free entrance), a japanese garden, a century-old water tower, Europe's sencond highest Music fountain with different music show every hour, outdoor baths, buffets and restaurants. This program can be planned for a whole day and is perfect for children, too.
  • The Gellért Hill is on the Buda side, next to the beautiful Gellért termal bath. The hill is covered with parks, has numerous walking routes, there is the Citadel, and the Gellért Hill Cave, with a cave chapel still funcitoning. There are also some special playgrounds for children (e.g. a slide park close to the cave). This program can be planned for a half day or a whole day and is perfect for children, too.
  • The Great Market Hall and the Váci pedestrian/shopping street are close to each other and are advised for those who would like to spend some time with shopping, e.g. buying suvenirs.
